Production Description

Set in the early 2000s, “Last Gasp” is the story of Damion, a sardonic gay party boy bent on self-destruction. His life is a non-stop party with his best friend, Rachel, until one day he meets Ben, a naïve and innocent guy from out of town. Taking a chance to explore what life would be like if he let his guard down, Damion begins a relationship with Ben that changes his life in ways he can’t anticipate.

Last Gasp is told with an omnipresent narrative that blurs the lines of reality while intimately exploring the themes of acceptance and betrayal in a world of prejudice and intolerance. It strings to together moments in time from Damion’s life that are relatable to so many; concluding in a chilling fashion that leaves the audience wondering about their own life choices.
