Join Workshop 44, The 44 Virtual Drama Club and The Los Banos Chamber of Commerce as they present a special virtual cabaret: LIVE @ THE FORSAKEN OLIVE. This special night is in celebration of the wonderful community and businesses of Los Banos, California. The power of art will connect Los Banos to the world with performances from India, Mexico, Great Britain and, of course, local and national talent. 

LIVE @ THE FORSAKEN OLIVE will feature sketch comedy, dancers, vocalists, and Musical Theater performers, professional and amateur alike. This night full of laughs, inspiration and music will be co-hosted by Workshop 44’s President and Artistic Director, Robert Jerome, and Workshop 44’s Guest Artist, Stephanie Braxton.

Vocalists 

Jamie Buckley- Jamie trained at Arts Educational Schools, Tring Park, and then went on to do musical theatre at the Guildford School of Acting, where he received a BA (hons). Jamie›s credits include: ensemble/cover Frank/Brad/Rocky in the European tour of The Rocky Horror Picture Show; prior to that, he played the part of Pitti-Sing in Sasha Regan›s All Male The Mikado (UK tour); before that, he appeared as Peter Pan in Stockport Plaza’s panto of Peter Pan, produced by Extravaganza. Jamie was also cover Joseph and cover Narrator and swing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour); he was a lead vocalist in Musical Starnights (European tour); soloist in The West End Men (Vaudeville Theatre); he also played George Robinson in Sincerely, Mr Toad (UK tour/Edinburgh Fringe), produced by Selladoor; he was ensemble in Paul Taylor-Mills’ production of Rent (Greenwich Theatre); Prince Charming in Polka Dot Pantomimes’ Cinderella at the Thameside Theatre; and ensemble and understudy Ralph in HMS Pinafore (King’s Head Theatre and Battersea Barge). Jamie was lucky enough to travel the world as a lead vocalist on P&O’s Arcadia (Headliners); before that, he was understudy Ugly Sister and ensemble in Cinderella (Evolution Pantomimes) and soloist at the Dora Bryan charity gala (Her Majesty’s Theatre).
Madison Mitchell- is an actor and choreographer based in Merced, CA. Having grown up on the stage, Madi has a special connection with musical theatre, and has been given the opportunity to perform with a number of different groups. Some of her favorite roles. include Sophie in “Mamma Mia” (Phoenix Creative Collective) or Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” (Playhouse Merced). When she is not onstage, you can find Madison in series such as “The Grimoire Chapters: R.E.M.” and “Chronofilm”. Aside from performing, Madi loves to cook, make jewelry, and eat snacks.
Joshua Griffiths- Joshua is an actor, film maker and teacher from the uk. He is just 21 years of age,and has been an extra in the major motion picture "Yesterday" with Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis. He will be seen soon in a feature film title still to be released based during WWI. Joshua owns and runs JJR Films, and has produced and created over 30 films under this company.
Abbie Roe- Abbie is an artist and educator living in Merced, California. During the day, Abbie is a Behavior Support Associate for adults with disabilities. In her free time, she is a local actor, musician, and painter. You may have caught her on stage as some of her favorite roles including Janet in “The Rocky Horror Show” at Phoenix Creative Collective, or Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors” at Playhouse Merced
Jordan Clark- Jordan just graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre Performance and a B.A. in Criminal Justice! Some of her favorite roles have been Liz Essendine in Present Laughter, Salome in The Robber Bridegroom, and Marcy Park in Putnam County Spelling Bee! She is incredibly exited to have this opportunity to perform virtually with Workshop 44!
Vanessa Love- Los Banos native Vanessa Love has been an influential creative director since her return to the valley in 2015. After years of training across the United States, Vanessa formed Los Banos Academy of Music. Since it’s inception five years ago, Los Banos Academy of Music has evolved into a school of creative arts, now offering classes in acting, dancing, art and music!
Jepoy Ramos is a Software Validation Engineer and an active member of the Bay Area theatre community. He has worked as an Actor, Producer, Production & Stage Manager, Crew, and Usher for various theatrical companies including Bay Area Musicals, Hillbarn Theatre, Palo Alto Players, Custom Made Theatre Company, Ray of Light Theatre, Bindlestiff Studios and many others. He is a proud member of the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. In his limited spare time, you can probably see Jepoy teaching fitness at F45 Studio in San Bruno, running multiple Spartan Races all over the US, or traveling to different cities around the world. Danni is a Musical Theatre Performance BFA Candidate at the University of Wyoming, where she is also working on a certificate program in ASL Studies. She sits on the board of two student-run theatre organizations at the University, and is involved in other community and youth theatres in Laramie as well, both as an actor and as an instructor. Danni may be remembered for serving up some pretty serious teen angst as Nadia 5 years ago in the inaugural production of SJS Theatrical Productions, bare: a pop opera. Some of her other favorite roles are Narrator in Joseph, and Jeannie in HAiR during the 50 year anniversary of the SF Summer of Love. Her favorite role to date, however, is playing "Mom" to her now 4 year old son, Spencer. While in HAiR she met fellow actor and accompanist Austin Yu.
Austin is a San Francisco based actor and accompanist. He has had the privilege to be able to perform in some of his favorite productions like Heathers, Avenue Q, and HAiR. It was because of HAiR that he met Danni, which made this whole "virtual accompanist" thing possible. Thrilled to be doing this together!
Alexander Laurence Rozier, or Alex, is a 21 year old living in Meridian, Idaho where he will be starting his first year at Boise State University as a Theater major later this fall. Alex was born and raised in Visalia, California where he got his start in musical theater. Some performances include PIPPIN (ensemble/Aerial Silks)Boise Little Theater, SPRING AWAKENING (Otto, Moritz U/S)Selma Arts Center, BULLETS OVER BROADWAY (David Shayne)College of the Sequoias, and many others. Alex looks forward to the day when all artists, performers and creators can get back into the theaters and start making art together again.
Nikita is a NY based actor originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. This past year, he made his Off-Broadway debut in the new Drama Desk Award winning musical "Romeo and Bernadette" in the role of Romeo. Recent regional credits include: Jack Kelly in "Newsies" (Woodminster Summer Musicals), Gene Gorman in "Saturday Night" (42nd St. Moon), Billy in "42nd Street" (Bay Area Musicals), Curly in "Oklahoma" (Woodminster Summer Musicals), Jean Michel in "La Cage Aux Folles" (San Francisco Playhouse), and Bobby Strong in "Urinetown" (Berkeley Playhouse, TBA Award Finalist). He also graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor's in Legal Studies. He's happy to be singing for Workshop 44! Instagram: @livinnikitaloca
Faizan Khurshid - India’s Karaoke World Champion (2012). Went on to represent India in Finland for the world finale. The winner of MTV Bollyland (2015). A professional singer since 2010. Member of India’s one and only boyband VOICEZ.
Kamran Khurshid - India's first karaoke world champion and Singer/Songwriter. Kamran has performed over 2000 shows around the world including countries such as Italy, Greece, Ireland, Korea, Jordan, Egypt, Singapore, Thailand and many more.He has performed with the world's biggest boyband "The Backstreet Boys" and also performed with the internationally renowned band Michael Learns to Rock. His music has been appreciated by some of the greats of the industry including Shahrukh Khan himself.

Dancers

Dance Explosion is the longest running dance, tumbling, and performing arts studio in Los Banos and #1 in quality. Dance Explosion is a Dance and Performing Arts studio. They offer Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Tumbling & Acrobatics, Cheer, Tiny Tots, Little Bitties, and a new Theatre Arts Program.
Selina Chih and Marlon Chen are longtime dance and choreography collaborators who have produced numerous local dance shows and performed around the SF Bay Area. Selina has performed worldwide, and is a director and choreographer for Bay Area Children's Theatre and founder of FCSN Dancin' Star where she teaches, choreographs and performs with special needs students. Selina and Marlon have appeared in various musicals or operas, including "Pippin", "Sweet Charity", "Guys and Dolls", "The Wizard of Oz", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "The Gondoliers" and "The Will Rogers Follies".
ORNELAS PRODUCCIONES is a Professional School of Dance located in Mexico City, Mexico. Jose Ornelas, the founder of ORNELAS PRODUCCIONES, is a graduate from Escuela Nacional De Danza Clásica y Contemporánea, INBA (National Institute of Fine Arts). Jose has led ORNELAS PRODUCCIONES for 30 years and during this time, the studio has won many national dance competitions and has become known for choreographing dance numbers for both theatrical productions and television. ORNELAS PRODUCCIONES has a fantastic team of certified teachers that specialize in Jazz and Classical Ballet. Alongside classical training, they offer many dance styles such as Hip-Hop and Reggaeton. They also specialize in workshops to help train the future of dance teachers.
